Gypsee was currently in her den, grooming herself and thinking of the news she had yet to share with the wolves of Blutwald. She remembered Caidans reaction and smiled to herself, chuckling a little, Right now he was out hunting for food, so she had a little time to herself. There was one other special figure in her life that she wanted to tell in person. Crash. It was important to her that Gypsee told her. Gypsee stretched and stuck her head out the den, when finally, she scent she had been waiting for appeared. She smiled, howling out to her adopted sister, asking her to come find her, her tail thumping heavily on the floor, her excitement audible in her howl.

:iconkiterrax:
Trailing after wolves in Blutwald wasn't really the most productive use of Crash's time, but she wasn't good for much else. That's what she thought Stallion was thinking, anyway. Everyone treated her like she was delicate, fragile, which -- whatever. She was fine.

Chewing nervously on her current stick, almost worn down to nothing, Crash trotted after a wolf. She didn't even know their name, and they weren't aware she was following them. That was fine by her. It was beginning to get late, the sun dying slowly. Time would soon be upon Crash to meet Gypsee at their hideaway, to mourn her brother.

A warbling howl echoed into the air, startling Crash and the wolf ahead of her. She jumped, dropping her stick and falling into a bush.Grumbling, Crash stood and abandoned the wolf she was following, who was now eyeing her strangely. Crash recognized her sister's howl as easy as if they'd been littermates together, and Gypsee was excited.

It wasn't long before Crash was crashing through the underbrush to Gypsee's den. Yelping, she trotted forward, ducking her head to pick up a rock on the ground. She dropped down next to her sister, wagging the tip of her tail faintly.

"What's up?" Crash asked around the stone. Her sister looked ecstatic, her tail stirring the dust up into a storm.

:iconshadowmagpie:
Gypsee watched Crash live up to her name as she burst into the den, grinning slightly. She frowned as she saw Crash had another rock and scowled at her silently, before returning her smile back to her face.
"I've got something very big to tell you, and i dont want you to either freak out or do anything stupid" Gypsee started, knowing how her sister was. She wished that some of the old Crash would come back, the one she met as a pup. She was so happy and carefree back then.
It hurt Gypsee to see her like this. No one seemed to know the real Crash but her. She knew her sister was strong, and only wished that Gypsee could take all of her pain away. Since Howl had died, it had been hard on both of them, but she knew she would always be there for Crash no matter what.
It was then Gypsee took a deep breath. Hopefully, this would return her back to herself a bit.

"I'm pregnant, you're going to be an auntie"

:iconkiterrax:
Crash braced herself for the worst when Gypsee warned her, and she chewed on her rock with vigour, feeling her mouth wounds open again. She stared in clear concern at her sister, preparing herself to comfort her sister.

But Gypsee didn't look sad, Crash thought. She looked a little nervous... Crash watched her adopted sister breathe in deeply, fortifying herself. Then she spoke. At first, the words didn't register with Crash.

Then the rock dropped from her jaws as her mouth fell open in surprise. What?

"What?" Crash asked simply, unable to find any words to articulate the situation better. Pregnant? Her gaze involuntarily dropped to her sister's belly. Gypsee was pregnant? Crash sat up abruptly.

"No way!" she exclaimed in disbelief. "Who mated you? Who's my brother in law?" She demanded, her tail wagging as she stared at Gypsee, her gaze flicking from her belly to her face.

:iconshadowmagpie:
Gypsee grinned at Crash's reaction, happy to see she forgot the rock. Gypse's tail wagged again and she giggled.

"Caidan is your brother-in-law, we became mates not too long ago and now..... well, these guys" Gypsee responded, pointing her muzzle in the direction of her stomach. Gypsee wagged her tail again, clearly happy with the news.

"What do you think?" Gypsee asked, a little nervously. Crash's reaction mattered to her, and she only hoped that Crash was giong to be just as excited as she was about the birth of her puppies.

:iconkiterrax:
"Caidan!" Crash said, her tail begging to wag just as much as Gypsee's. Puppies! Her sister was having puppies! It made sense Caidan and Gypsee would pair up, they had always harboured a rapport, and going through what they did together was enough to strengthen any bond.

"I'm so happy for you, sister," Crash said, running her tongue over her mouth. She stepped forward and embraced her sister, resting her head in between Gypsee's shoulder blades. Her tail slowed as she breathed in, thinking about the future.

Things would be better now, right? Her sister was better, and puppies were on their way, and they were safe here in Blutwald. Crash closed her eyes and breathed out, the comforting gesture calming her.

:iconshadowmagpie:
Gypsee was happy that Crash was happy, and as Crash embraced her, she had never felt happier. She knew things where going to be ok now. She licked Crash's side in a comforting gesture and wagged her tail again.

"Oh Crash, you're going to be an amazing auntie! They will love you so much!!" Gypsee chimed, looking at Crash from the side.

"Though you have to stop with the rock business, i dont want my kids eating stones!!" Gypsee said with a warm smile, her tail brushing against Crash every time it wagged. Her attention then turned to the outside world, where she stared for a moment.

"And there was something else..... If i have a boy, i want to name him...... Howl. You know, if that's ok with you" Gypsee said, looking back to Crash to see her reaction.

:iconkiterrax:
Crash stepped away, her tail drooping when her sister mentioned the stone. They both glanced down to the blood and saliva soaked rock on the ground, and Crash closed her eyes in shame. It was a bad habit that she'd picked up, she knew, but she couldn't help it.

"Okay," she nodded, her ears low. For her sister and her unborn pups, Crash could try and stop it. Crash didn't want any impressionable little wolves picking up the habit and ruining their teeth and mouth. "I'll try and stop."

A few moments passed where they both fell silent, Crash running her tongue over her mouth, feeling the sores there. She winced at the pain. Why had she started chewing on objects? Her belly grumbled in the silence. Crash blushed and Gypsee smiled, before she spoke up again.

The mention of her brother had Crash tensing up, her head dropping. She looked down at the ground, feeling her heart thump, the way Howl's wasn't anymore. Grimacing, she tried to get the image of his corpse out her head. Her body trembled, and the old familiar urge to run hit her hard.

"G-Gypsee," Crash gasped out, her whole body shaking. She stood and backed away, shaking her head. She couldn't do this.

:iconshadowmagpie:
Gypsees ears pinned back as her sister gave a negative reaction and started backing away. She hadn't wanted to offend Crash or to make her sad. Gypsee felt a pang of guilt but damn if she was gonna let Crash deteriate anymore.

"Yes you can! Howl wouldn't have wanted you to feel this way! He wanted you to have a good life which is why he took you away from Blutwald in the first place. You need to stay focused on the good happening" Gypsee started, more than desperate to get through to her. She wanted Crash to stay calm and to be around.

"I know its hard, itt had an effect on me too. But i understand that he was your brother and its different from me but... Its ok. Its ok to feel like this, we have been through a lot. But just.... Dont lose sight of all the good in the world. Dont be consumed by it all, there is still so much for you to enjoy, Howl wouldn't want you feeling this way all the time" Gypsee added, getting up and nuzzling Crash, her tail waving. She licked Crash's face before looking at her with a concerned expression

:iconkiterrax:
It was hard for Crash to stay and listen to Gypsee. Her ears pinned, Crash whined in the back of her throat. In a small part of her brain that wasn't attached to the immediate moment, Crash could tell that what her adopted sister was saying made sense, but it was so hard to get past her fear and grief.

"A-alright," Crash whispered, looking at the ground. She sucked in great lungfuls of air, trying to stop hyperventilating. Gypsee was nosing at her, trying to comfort her. Howl wouldn't want Crash to be like this, Gypsee was right. "I'll try, more... to be normal," Crash finished, exhaling deeply. The adrenaline was beginning to leave her system, leaving her shaky and exhausted.

Although it took a few minutes, Crash eventually felt like she wasn't being consumed by her panic. The sharp afterimage of black crows against a stark sky left her eyes, and she focussed on Gypsee. She felt slightly shamed for breaking down in front of her, but Gypsee was her sister, and she had been there too.

Standing, pulling her uncoordinated limbs to her full height, Crash nodded at Gypsee. "You're right," She said, feeling more conviction. "Howl would have wanted me to be happy, just like he wanted you and Caidan to be happy, too. I think... if you have a boy, naming him Howl would be. A good idea," she got out, looking away by the end, sniffing.

:iconshadowmagpie:
Gypsee watched closely as Crash came around and gradually seemed to return to normal. She smiled slightly. Crash was one of the strongest wolves she knew, having everything that she had gone through. She just hoped Crash saw how strong she was aswell. Gypsee nuzzled into her again and buried her face in Crash's neck fur.

"Please Crash" She mumbled into her sisters fur.

"I need you around, i really do. It destroys me to see you so distraught and to see you so sad. It's not your fault about how you feel and its not your fault with how you deal with things, i just want you to feel better, i hate seeing you so down" Gypsee added, her tail brushing in the dust.

"And soon, your nieces or nephews will need you in their life, and they will want to pay pranks with auntie Crash and when they sneak off behind mum and dads back, Auntie Crash will be there to set them straight" Gypsee said gently, nuzzling Crash's nose, looking at her again.

:iconkiterrax:
The talk of Gypsee's pups had Crash smiling slightly, knowing that she would be everything she could to her little nieces and nephews. She returned Gypsee's comforting gestures, smiling at her sister. "Your children will probably be little tree climbers if they spend too much time around me," she said, laughing a little.

Crash felt drained, but she also felt lighter than she had in a while, less like a stone. Her belly grumbled angrily and she startled a little. Looking up at the sky, Crash noticed it was getting dark. Maybe they could grab something to eat on their way to their secret hideout.

Standing, Crash smiled at her sister and wagged her tail. "C'mon, we still need to howl tonight, and I don't know how long your mate will be gone."
An RP between the amazing :iconkiterrax and I i am not worthy between out characters Gypsee and Crash, where Gypsee tells her adopted sister that she is having puppehs, and that Crash will be an auntie! :D

Much loves :D
